A lot of sentiment in the u.s. for the administration to do a lot more than it s done. i think biden s real problem is that he he made a bad first impression. the debacle of the withdrawal from afghanistan continues to haunt this presidency. you can draw straight line between his approval rating prior to that. and what it is today. he has never really recovered. i think he is very worried that this is going to track him and democrats into the midterm elections. but i think the american people would be very much with the administration and doing as much as possible to help ukraine defend itself against russia. it is just a matter of political will on the part of democrats. as mark mentioned, so far that will doesn t seem to be existent to the extent that it needs to be for them to do what they need to do to defend themselves. but, i think the public would be with the administration if it continue down this path and gives the ukrainians the arms ....
