The Mayor's Office is now accepting nominations for the annual Mayor’s Young Leader Awards. Launched in 2015, the awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of young professionals, age 40 and under, whose efforts positively impact the Colorado Springs community. Nominees must live or work in Colorado Springs. City employees are not eligible.Nominations must be submitted via ColoradoSprings.gov/MYLA by Friday, September 9. The six award categories are as follows:

The City of Colorado Springs and Exponential Impact are launching the Survive & Thrive: Propel COS Grant program to help local businesses that are struggling with negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The City of Colorado Springs and Exponential Impact will host a media briefing on the launch of the program today at 11 a.m. in Room 102 of the City Administration Building.  

The city has partnered with Exponential Impact for the Strive and Thrive program. Each applicant could get up to $50,000
