SANDF Chief General Solly Shoke and President Cyril Ramaphosa take the salute at Armed Forces Day 2020.
The first stop for outgoing CSANDF General Solly Shoke on his end-of-duty tour was North West late in April with stop number two set for Northern Cape this week according to the Directorate Corporate Communication (DCC) of the national defence force.
Shoke will be accompanied by his successor, current Lieutenant General Rudzani Maphwanya, to the provincial capital Kimberley on Wednesday as he says farewell to provincial commanders and introduces them to Maphwanya.
Potchefstroom was Shoke’s first end-of-duty tour stop when he called on the SA Army’s’ Extended Command Cadre (ECC) conference. He also had sight of concept designs for new SA Army dress, including a replacement for the daily camouflage workwear. ....
