The weather bureau has predicted very heavy to extremely heavy falls over Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for two days, followed by a gradual decrease. Moreover, the weather office has also forecasted heavy rainfall different parts of the country.

The airport management has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for a duration of three days, from Wednesday to Friday. Additionally, the airport has made necessary arrangements by storing an adequate supply of diesel and petrol for emergency operations. There are no aircraft in the parking area at the airport.
Star Air and Air India are among the airlines that cancelled their flights to Jamnagar Airport as well as there are no aircraft in the parking at the airport.
