Avondale Estates Mayor Jonathan Elmore highlighted the development and projects that are happening in the city during his State of the City address on Thursday, April 21.
The city of Avondale Estates received a proposal from Reeves Young to construct the market pavilion portion of the town green project.
The Avondale Estates town green is coming along. The city broke ground on the project in June and so far sod and tree installations have started, and the Franklin Street connector has been paved.
The developers working on the Avondale Estates town green presented construction drawings to the City Commission on Jan. 26, and they will move forward with permitting and figuring out the cost per the direction of the board.
The town green project moved a step closer to getting a market pavilion that will be located next to the commercial spaces.
