boeing: Boeing loses $1.6 billion on fewer deliveries of airliners and higher costs for Air Force One jets
Boeing reported a $1.64 billion loss in the third quarter due to lower deliveries of its best-selling plane and increased costs for building Air Force One jets. The company lowered its forecast for 737 Max production and said production and deliveries of 737s will be slowed due to inspections and additional work. Excluding special items, the company lost $3.26 per share.
