He is also Director of Cardiovascular Innovation at the Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute at Icahn Mount Sinai and Chief of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Queens, and the first Mount Sinai cardiologist to hold this position.

Hailing from Loyola University Chicago, Badia Ahad is an experienced leader focused on providing faculty, students and staff with the resources they need to thrive. She will begin her role at Oxford on Aug. 1.
