Edward Paul ‘Ed’ Crapol WILLIAMSBURG — Edward P. “Ed” Crapol, 84, died peacefully at his home the morning of Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, of congestive heart failure. A historian, teacher, family man and friend, Ed was born Sept. 29, 1936, in Buffalo, New York, to Paul Crapol and Emmi Klinger Crapol. Albert Titus UB researcher Albert H. Titus, professor and chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, has been elected a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI).
