COVID-19 in South Dakota: State reports 20 new COVID-19 deaths

Twenty additional South Dakotans with COVID-19 died, the South Dakota Department of Health reported Monday, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,381. The department reported 347 new infections, which brought the seven-day average to 531. The new infections were from 3,206 total new tests. A total of 95,074 known infections have occurred among South Dakotans. Four of the new infections were found among residents of a long-term care facility.
