Norway: MOL Norge drills dry well at Mandal High in the southern North Sea - 2/9-6 S 10 Feb 2021 PL 617, is concluding the drilling of wildcat well 2/9-6 S. The well was drilled on the west side of the Mandal High, about 9 km north of the Norwegian-Danish border and 280 kms southwest of Stavanger. The objective of the well was to prove petroleum in Upper Jurassic reservoir rocks (the Mandal Formation).
