Cyber cons have added yet another insidious practice to their repertoire of ways to dupe people. They have been calling people in the guise of their fathers’ friends, claiming that their father had borrowed money and wanted it to be a secret. They convince victims to transfer money using e-wallets. Cases have been reported at the Ludhiana Police Commissionerate.
