Friend of the show. dr. patel, good morning, thank you so much. give us your broad overview, what do you make of the president s new covid-19 strategy? 96 pages and i have to say, there is very little to criticize, because the plan covers almost every domain you could ask, current treatments, really also trying to tackle the problems around global vaccination, and encouraging more u.s. vaccinations and as you mentioned, you know, moving to the phase where covid is here, but it does not disrupt, nor does it really cause the death and disease and destruction that we ve unfortunately seen over the last two years, prevention, surveillance, i will have to say this, having worked on the hill and in the white house, a lot of this funding, i don t think the president was shy about mentioning that in the state of the union, but very good elements here, and i think americans should be reassured that we have a plan that is not only in effect today, but will be in place ten years, 20 years from ....
