AIBA President discussed with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan development of boxing in the country 04/05/21 During his official visit to Uzbekistan AIBA President Umar Kremlev had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the country Mr. Abdulla Aripov. Development of boxing in Uzbekistan and hosting of Men’s World Championships in 2023 were the main points of agenda. Mr. Kremlev expressed gratitude to Mr. Abdulla Aripov for support in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and sports in the country, especially of boxing. A few days ago was officially announced that the city of Tashkent is awarded the 2023 AIBA Men’s World Boxing Championships after the successful bid presentation by the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan.
