Manawatū special needs martial arts group grows in popularity
Mainstream people are welcome to attend as well, but everyone moves at the same level. Paul Blencoe said they were contacted by Freyberg High School special education teacher Pam Cresswell about starting a Palmerston North club, and they were also helped by Tania Garrett from Sport Manawatū. Blencoe said they focused on four things: improving mental health, improving physical health, inclusion and whānau.
