Lancaster city to begin creating new comprehensive plan for community development
Lancaster city is kicking off a two-year project to create a roadmap for growth and community development. State law requires municipalities to create a comprehensive plan âthat reflects community consensus and informs municipal regulatory and financial decisions.â The document must address essential infrastructure needs, housing and services such as transportation, public health and utilities. The city said its plan also would consider âdiversity, equity, and inclusion; environmental sustainability; economic development; and other topics as identified by the community.â F...
