With growing enrollment in mind, the Festus Board of Education recently voted to promote Tammy VanEtten to a newly created additional assistant principal position at Festus High School.
The Festus R-6 Board of Education on Jan. 18 approved spending about $1.5 million on an HVAC replacement-roof repair project at Festus Elementary School, as well as another $46,900 to replace a portion of the HVAC system at Festus Middle School.
Festus R-6 announced its Board of Education on Dec. 21 approved hiring Denise Funston as its new assistant superintendent. Funston, principal of Windsor Elementary School, will take over her new duties July 1, 2024.
