The Nigeria Police Force has arrested a witness for one of the five accused persons in the April 5, 2018, armed robbery attack in Offa, Kwara state, Omolara Ogundiran. Omolara, a graduate of Ire Poly, Osun state, was arrested on Friday within the court premises and was taken away around 3:40pm by operatives of the state police command immediately after the trial. According to reports, Omolara a younger sister of the fifth defendant, Niyi Ogundiran, who resides in Odoota area of the Ilorin metropolis, had come to the court to give evidence on behalf of her brother.
