Man in court over pensioner's death in Falkirk

BBC News Published A man has appeared in court charged with murder following a death in Falkirk. Alastair Gray, 73, was discovered with fatal injuries and pronounced dead at a property in Grahams Road on Tuesday. Christopher Gray, 49, was charged with murder when he appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Wednesday. He was also charged under the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012. Police were called to a disturbance at a house on Uist Road in the Fife town at about 7.10pm on Saturday. Emergency services attended and a 65-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later. He has now been identified as Thomas Adams.
