Especially in light of a ban that police issued on this latest protest, but that did not deter protesters. if anything, it only infuriated them. and we're seeing a very violent side of them now. we've seen protesters hurl firebombs or molotov cocktails directly at government buildings in front of the legislative council, the local government in hong kong. and right next door to the pla, the chinese military. it didn't take long for police to intervene, to launch tear gas and something new, the use of a water canon. specifically, firing blue and red colored water out of that canon.
