Possible delays in Finstown Orkney Islands Council is advising motorists of possible delays in Finstown from today as works start to upgrade the streetlighting system, on the A966 between Finstown and the Firth School. Works are expected to last for around four weeks. Over the next couple of weeks, works will move closer the Firth School and the footbridge. While School attendance is currently minimal, when possible, teams will be avoiding carrying out works around times of school drop off and collection.
