Helstrom executive producer Amanda Segel to write one of their upcoming Game of Thrones spinoffs that is currently in development. Deadline reports that the network has hired Amanda Segel, writer and producer for shows like Person of Interest, Helstrom, and Shooter to write the project. The project is part of HBO’s larger expansion into George R.R. Martin’s world of Westeros, and will join Game of Thrones and the forthcoming House of the Dragon (which is currently in production). According to Deadline, production has begun on House of the Dragon, a prequel series that’s set three centuries before Game of Thrones. Now that cameras are rolling, HBO says that the series will debut sometime in 2022.
