ZubAir teams up with RTI for developing flight data access technology | News, Sports, Jobs

Dr. Junaid Zubairi
Efforts to modernize flight data tracking have taken a big step forward, thanks to ZubAir Data LLC, a start-up and client of the Fredonia Technology Incubator, and its industry affiliate Real-Time Innovations (RTI), a software framework company for autonomous systems.
ZubAir, founded by Junaid Zubairi, State University at Fredonia Department of Computer and Information Sciences professor and chair, teamed up with RTI Connext DDS, of Sunnyvale, Calif., to provide the real time data connectivity framework for its Flight Data Tracker System, which aims to transmit vital black box data in real-time to ground-level sensors in addition to storing it in the “black box” on the airplane. The specific Connext DDS features integrated with the ZubAir system include topic-wise transmission, ranges, encryption, authentication and Quality-of-Service (QoS). ....

presuming that also means sharm el sheikh. people shouldn t go there. on the southern tip of sinai. israeli tourists, european tourists and all sorts of people traveling there all the time and interesting advice coming out of the state department not to go there right now in terms of employees of the state department, anderson. you look at this flight data and flight radar 24, the flight recorder, the flight data tracker. plane fell from 31,000 feet to 26,000 feet in just the final 26 second, i think. yeah, i i m glad you brought that up. it was at 31,100 feet and went up to 33,500. you know, in two seconds, a lot of erratic debt and they do claim it s real time. how accurate this information is curious to me. but what is really curious to me, it showed a trend of a descending airplane and as we ve discussed, this thing has been down to, it went down to a ....

Point. and, david, i mean, according to the flight data tracker, flight radar 24, the plane slowed down suddenly and then plunged at like 300 miles an hour and the plane s direction of travel was, what they said, wobbling from side to side. what does that tell you? well, it would tell you that it was a breakup in the flight. no directional control of the aircraft. wobbling left to right means no rudder and no control going left to right. it would be consistent with this type of in-flight breakup for sure. miles, does it surprise you that air traffic controllers wouldn t have received any distress calls from the pilots? if you harkin back to previous incidents like this whether it is lockerbie or twa-800 which ultimately was a full tank explosion, there was no chance for the crew to get a radio call off. there are also reporting reporting that officials say that based on the flight data recorder, there were uncharacteristic sounds heard ....

Is it? a long time ago it was not very good. i don t have recent experience there. but it s a tourist town. a lot of europeans go there, russians, western europeans travel there because of the great resort area it is. that s part of the problem, the egyptian government don t want people to think this is an unsafe area. it s a big diving spot. a great diving spot. it is not the best security in the world. and certainly in the middle east. but i can t vouch for it in the last two years or so. but i think they have had a lot of trouble and attacks by these groups. you would think the security would be increased. they have had gate jumpers there and attacks there. this is going to be a new focal point. and according to the flight data tracker, the plane slowed ....
