FLINT, MI The Flint Metro Transportation Authority is extending deals to its customers until next month.
The transportation company will continue offering free rides each Sunday and $2 rides to its customers through March.
In addition, veterans and their spouses, including widows, can receive six free rides each month for health and wellness trips, according to a MTA press release. ....

FLINT, MI A bus ran through the side of a downtown Flint building after colliding with an SUV Sunday afternoon.
A crash involving a GMC Yukon and a Flint Metro Transportation Authority bus at the intersection of Saginaw and Third streets at about 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, left the bus in the side of downtown’s Paterson building and the Yukon crumpled in the center of the intersection.
Police confirmed that the crash occurred on scene and said there were injuries, but declined to say the number or severity of injuries. ....

FLINT, MI - A crash over the holiday weekend between an SUV and a Flint Metro Transportation Authority (MTA) bus has left one person in critical condition at a local hospital.
Emergency personnel responded shortly before 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27 to the intersection of South Saginaw and Third streets for a crash between a GMC Yukon and the MTA bus.
The on-scene investigation by Flint police has indicated the SUV driven by Andrew Lee-Alan Scott was headed south on Saginaw Street when it hit the side of the MTA bus, which was headed east on Third Street. ....
