Bayelsa Elders' Council Calls For President Buhari's Visit Amid Flooding Of State
The Bayelsa State Elders’ Council has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently visit Bayelsa State to personally assess the damage the recent flood has done to lives and livelihoods in the state. The chairman of the council and former Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State Rear Admiral Gboribiogha Jonah (Retd) made the call while speaking on behalf of the group when it donated food items to the state government at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Camp at Ox-Bow Lake, Yenagoa.
