Flushing Summerfest Kicks Off This Week Get our free mobile app Flushing Fest 2021 is set to kick-off Wednesday, June 9th. Hosted by the Flushing Chamber of Commerce, the annual festival is back bigger than ever after being postponed, and then finally cancelled, last year due to COVID-19. Things get going starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, with the parade which will start at Central Elementary School, located at 525 Coutant Street.
