Classified or not, that we re in these folders. but these are still incredibly important things. if they are important enough to make it to the desk of the president of the united states, that is something we should probably care about. a lot of things that make it to the desk of the president of the next eight hours maybe not super important to national security, but the fact that maybe it needed to be returned to the staff secretary would suggest that he was not just the piece of paper that could land with no incident, right? yeah, exactly, these are things that with policy could potentially be implemented even if it s not classify, this could potentially be something very important. then there is mar-a-lago itself. the more we learn about the porous nature of the beach club, the more it seems like, in the words of joel, the former head of u. s. counterintelligence, i think mar-a-lago is a counterintelligence nightmare. the bulk of these documents were found in a storage area ....

a lot of paper and knickknacks all jammed together. all right. these folders, these empty folders marked classified, what do we know about them? we don t entirely know a lot about them. we know these folders exist and they have these markings on them. but what s really unclear, and some of my colleagues have spoken to former and current intel officials, it s really unclear if these were just folders that were reused because they re off a way that people transport a classified document so no one with a prying eye can perhaps read it or see what s on it. or, it s not clear if these are does this suggest that documents are missing? you know, could they have been taken out and this shell of the folder is what s left? but it s hard to really know based on just this description here. it s very possible they re just empty folders. so we were sitting next to each other at 6:00 a.m. this morning and i asked you this question. when is the judge going to rule on the special master? any se ....

Everything left the white house. and it is literally that someone took their arm and swept the entire desk off into boxes, no matter what was there. so i always say, if someone did that to my desk, there s an empty can of red bull and a stapler and maybe some attorney-client privilege documents and the like, i have the same some of the same file folder cover photos of classified records, with no classified info in them, of course. the government gave them to me. now, i don t keep 48 of them because i don t need 48 of them. but i kept one as a souvenir. so i think these could just be souvenirs that they kept or they just swept them up. what is more important to me with respect to these folders, these marked classification folders is that whoever would have looked in the box would have been under the impression of, oh, maybe there is something in these boxes that we should be looking for to make sure that there is no classified information in the cartons. that is where i would like t ....

But he never made that argument in the course of, oh, two years or year and a half of wrangling back and forth with national archives officials, doj officials before they finally executed the search warrant. so it seems like that argument s just been made up after the fact. and he s come up with no explanation. and i might add i don t recall one being given to the judge in the most recent filing about this special master in the declassification process. you have to wonder, bradley, and think about this certainly it would have been easier to just give documents back, not taken them in the first place. but the idea of retaining counsel, going through all this, having the back and forth, just begs the question as to why. why fight so hard for these documents? but i do want to point out there are some empty folders in here. empty folders that are marked classified. and i don t know about you but people mostly have you probably have manila folders somewhere in ....
