The military commission, huge problems, it's clear that the suspects would have been much more quickly and fairly convicted had they simply been brought here to manhattan in a regular federal court rather than tried in the brand new procedure down in guantanamo. but the hunger strikers are a different set of people. they're the anonymous people, people from yemen and other countries 40 are not even deemed a threat any more. they can't be sent back because the u.s. government doesn't have enough confidence in the yemeni government to keep tabs on them. they are just sitting in guantanamo endles...
