Unioto Grad Now Commander Of Air Guard Fighter Wing | Buckeye Country 105.5

By Newsroom Dec 22, 2020 A Unioto High School graduate is now in command of the Air National Guard’s 149th Force Support Squadron. According to a release from Joint Hometown News Service, Air Force Captain Caleb Gaus assumed command of the 149th Force Support Squadron during a virtual ceremony this past summer at the Texas Air National Guard’s 149th Fighter Wing. Captain Gaus is a 2005 graduate of Unioto High School, and a 2011 graduate of the University of Cincinnati.

25 Members that deployed with the 94th Fighter Squadron returned to Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, from a rapid deployment in support of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility Dec. 19, 2020.
