Man Faces Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement Charges
(Photo: TDCB) An Elgin man has been charged with several offences following the alleged aggravated assault and forcible confinement of a woman. Last Saturday (December 5), Caledonia RCMP responded to a home on Gowland Mountain Road for a wellbeing check. Police found an injured 56-year-old man and 45-year-old woman when they arrived. The man was arrested and taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics.
