In the letter, he acknowledges the negative mental health effects on students that learning from home imposes. He says he expects modeling this week that puts the range of COVID-19 cases associated with reopening schools to between 2,000 and 4,000 cases by the end of July and that this is concerning with variant(s) still on the rise.
