The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against the Indian Development Group (India Chapter) and three other NGOs for allegedly violating the provisions of India's foreign funding rules.
The complaint, which is now part of the FIR, has alleged that though Oxfam India's FCRA registration ceased, it planned to circumvent the law by taking other routes to channelise funds.
CBI launched an investigation against Oxfam India and its workers for allegedly contravening Indian foreign funding guidelines. The investigation follows a complaint from the Indian Home Ministry, which claimed that Oxfam India had received approximately INR 1.5 crore directly into its Foreign Contribution Utilisation account, rather than its designated bank account, between 2013 and 2016. Oxfam India has denied any wrongdoing and has filed a plea with the Delhi High Court against the decision not to renew its FCRA registration, which was declined in December 2021., Economy News, Times Now

From the email found during IT survey by the CBDT it appears that the Oxfam India is providing funds to the Centre for Policy Research through its associates/employees in the form of commission, reads the complaint
