India News: CBI has filed an FIR against activist Harsh Mander and his NGO, Centre for Equity Studies, for alleged violations of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act. The FIR states that the NGO transferred funds from its FCRA account and diverted funds through other firms. Harsh Mander, a former member of Sonia Gandhi's National Advisory Council, has been accused of accepting foreign contributions and acting as a conduit for transfer of foreign funds to non-FCRA associations.
