The African countries have a very kind understanding of the human rights situation in the Philippines, Ambassador to Kingdom of Morocco Leslie Junio Baja said Wednesday.
During the Commission on Appointments deliberation on Baja s nomination, Senator Francis Tolentino mentioned that International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda was Gambian and that most of the members of the ICC were African as well.
The ICC s Office of the Prosecutor recently said it has found reasonable basis to believe that crimes against humanity had been committed in the Duterte administration s war on drugs. ....
