PSD Board approves 3-year capital plan, questions future of Horizon Stage

Article content
Parkland School Division Board of Trustees unanimously approved the three-year capital plan from 2022 to 2025 at the regular board meeting on March 2.
The three-year plan, as presented by PSD Associate Superintendent Scott McFadyen, builds off the facility review that PSD completed back in 2019. The capital plan detailed a list of priorities every year for the next three consecutive years.

“It is essentially the same plan as the 2021 to 2025, as we didn’t get any approval from government on that capital plan, on those items,” said McFadyen. “The one change, I will say is it doesn’t build off the value scoping sessions that we had regarding Spruce Grove Composite High School.”
