Digging discontent: Newly paved path pulled apart
Residents had been consistently communicating with BDA officials to restore the road. Their persistent appeals led to road tarring, but within a short span of three months, the road was dug up once more. The residents alleged that the contractor carrying out the work was as well in a drunk state and had damaged portions of the footpath and other parts of the road where there was no requirement of laying an underground pipeline.
