New carbon sequestration calculating tool launched
January 13, 2021 3:36 pm A new ‘Forest Carbon Tool’ that will allow forest owners calculate how much carbon can be removed in woodlands was launched today (Wednesday, January 13) by Minister of State with responsibility for land use and biodiversity Pippa Hackett. The tool was developed by Teagasc with the support of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and private company FERS (Forestry Environment Research and Services).
