Gastonia man earns notable award from Wingate University A recent college grad from Gastonia was recently awarded for his years of hard work while studying at Wingate University. Kyle Matthew Ring, who graduated from Forestview High School in 2017 and lives in Gastonia, received the university’s A.F. Hendricks Award during Wingate’s earlier this month.
