Area school districts and municipal governments are offering residents guidance ahead of predicted inclement weather hitting the region late Sunday through Monday and into Tuesday. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to drop below freezing on Sunday night and remain there throughout the day Monday. The overnight low Monday night into Tuesday is projected to be in the mid teens. There is an 80 percent chance for snow or sleet overnight Sunday into Monday. By Tuesday, the National Weather Service predicts temperatures will reach the mid 30s but be under sunny skies.
