I was born and raised in providence, rhode island, 1943. I graduated from Providence Country Day School and went to the military academy in july of 1961. And while at the military academy, i fought the Academic Department on a daytoday basis. Played a little squash, played a little tennis, and was delighted to finally graduate, and i was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the infantry.
