Immigration boss, Babandede gives update on 2020/2021 recruitment across Nigeria

Daily Post Nigeria Published The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mr Muhammad Babandede, has provided an update on the ongoing 2020/2021 recruitment into the service. Babandede said that NIS invited 70,000 applicants for examination and only 50,000 appeared and sat for the examination across the country. By Mon Jan 18 2021 The Forward Operation Base (FOB) of the Nigerian Navy (NN), Igbokoda, on Sunday, said 24 suspected oil thieves were arrested on coastal waters in Ilaje Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo State. The Commanding Officer (CO) of FOB, Navy Capt Shuaibu Muhammed-Ahmed, while parading the suspects, told newsmen that they were apprehended on January 13, at 4pm during the navy’s routine patrol on the Ondo-Lagos open sea channel.
