21-storey Ikoyi Building Collapsed Due To Negligence Of Lagos Agencies— Coroner

The 21-story building that collapsed on Gerard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State in November 2021 was caused by the negligence of agencies in charge of project approval and supervision, a coroner’s inquest has revealed. The Coroner, Chief Magistrate O. A. Komolafe on Tuesday delivered the verdict in an inquest into the building collapse that killed many people on November 1, 2021.
