Torrington builder pays $1.3M for Southington industrial building
Torrington-based builder Allan Borghesi recently paid $1.3 million for a Southington building that had housed another contracting company. A limited liability company headed by Borghesi paid $1.3 million for a 12,766-square-foot, metal-sided, industrial building at 109 Industrial Drive in Southington in a deal recorded Dec. 23. Borghesi is chairman of Borghesi Building & Engineering, a 49-year-old, family-run building company based in Torrington. Borghesi formed 109 Industrial Drive LLC. nine days before it purchased the Southington property.
