Mayor TenHaken proposes funding for more police, Metro Communications, housing initiatives By Todd Epp

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) Mayor Paul TenHaken unveiled his proposed operating and capital improvement budgets Thursday afternoon.
He says his proposed operating budget renews the city’s focus on housing accessibility, public safety, and quality services.
TenHaken’s 2022 budget includes a request to add four additional positions for police, as well as increased investment in Metro Communications.
The Mayor also says he proposes funding to invest with nonprofit and private sector partners to implement housing solutions.
