pete: it was a powerful moment. will: all right, lawrence, thank you so much. pete: thank you lawrence and frank. we will check back in with frank as he goes in the tunnel this morning completing the journey. can you feel the emotion. rachel, to the point you made, the donation that he just announced was for one of the marines, i believe, that was killed in afghanistan. rachel: yes. pete: you can t deny the connection to the mission that we had there and what happened in the last few weeks. and how it is tethered to the hearts of someone like frank siller and these families who know the truth of who attacked us, islamic terrorists attacked us on 9/11. you can try to have a revisionist history and pretend that s not the case. it s a long thread that leads from afghanistan to here. ains. rachel: you are so right. we have him on. he looks amazing. we should go on that walk. it s the fittest i have ever seen him. he looks really healthy. he doesn t just raise money. he s raising awareness
that their family doesn t have to worry about how they are going to get their next meal. talk about that. that is why we are successful. we have simple mission. first, never forget this was a never forget walk. then it s to honor. and we honor by doing this, by coming together. and then it s to do good. saint francis said brothers and sisters while we have time let us do good. that is what we live by. that s what my family lives by. that is why from the very beginning we decided that we are not going to stay in a bad place that we are going to crush that evil and do good. and not just stephen s name but the name of all these great heroes that day. and to build houses for our catastrophically injured service members. to say pay off mortgages for gold star families, including lance corporal mccollum s family, to take care of police officers and firefighters. police officers, instead of people spitting on the ground they should kiss the freakin ground that they walk on because they g
walks going through his mind as he walks the steps of his very brother 20 years ago. it was his day off. he didn t have to come in. he was on his way to play golf. he heard about it and threw his gear on an ran through that tunnel. frank is watch walking the final steps. will: shanksville and here to new york city. frank is walking from the brooklyn side the brooklyn battery tunnel emerging into new york city. again, the same walk, his brother performed. he was on earlier describing that situation where in his brother car came to a screeching halt on the brooklyn side of that tunnel, he strapped on his gear and ran through that tunnel to here, lower manhattan, where the world trade center towers had just been attacked on september 11th, 2001. as you mentioned, pete, we will talk to pete in just moments. but, as eemerges in lower manhattan, i would be fascinated to know what s going through his mind he s walked the same walk
on this walk, i had to see many young families out with their kids. 8 different parades in 8 different towns. and many times they just lined the street. they are out there with their young kids. it gives me some encouragement that parents are telling their children what happened 20 years ago. i addressed eighth graders yesterday, seventh and eighth graders i said you guys are old enough to know the truth, you know, that islamic terrorists tried to kill as many americans as possible. they did kill 2977 of them. and many of them at the north and south tower here when i come this tunnel on the other side. look, do you know what i m doing today? i m calling the widow of lance column, i m going to speak toker h i m telling her that the tunnel to towers foundation is going to deliver her a mortgage-free home because it s so important that we, all of us
responders. rachel: it really does. one of the heroes who lost his life on 9/11 was fdn firefighter steven still. will: when steven heard the news of the north tower he responded strapping his gear on his back and racing on foot through the brooklyn battery tunnel. pete: amazing story. 20 years later his brother frank is honoring his mother with the tunnel to towers foundation and by finishing his never forget walk which kicked off right here on fox & friends about a month ago. i think it s so important that we never forget what happened 20 years ago. and so i m walking from the three places that had such unbelievable loss of life. i got unbelievable things from my family that i m wearing that were pictures of my brother right here on my right on my heart as i m walking. i can t fail them. i will complete this. you can bank on it. rachel: that picture right on his heart, oh. let s check in with frank along
