A $2 million proposal to begin the process of creating a new Memorial Park across the street from the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee has been signed into law.
Jacobs Jewelers, Beach Road Fish House & Chicken Dinners and Cotten’s Bar-B-Que expect to shut their doors as owners retire or property is sold.
Owners Fred Jr. and Yvonne Cotten said they are retiring and ready to “relax a little.”
The shop will offer walk-up service from the 1401 N. Main St. converted service station.
