Taylor J. Botsford, 27, found competent for trial on rape charge
NEW PHILADELPHIA A 27-year-old man charged with rape has been found competent to stand trial. Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Elizabeth Lehigh Thomakos made the finding on Monday regarding Taylor J. Botsford, who has pleaded not guilty to the charge that he engaged in sexual conduct with the victim knowing that her ability to resist or consent was impaired.
