As the Storminâ Norman Band stood on the steps of Billikenâs Smokehouse at the Chimneys Saturday afternoon, they urged passersby to make their voices heard to the Fredericksburg City Council. âDo not let council pull the vocal chords out of Fredericksburg,â bass guitarist Frankie Brennan shouted. City Council is considering a proposed noise ordinance that would make it a Class 3 misdemeanor for anyone to be âplainly audibleâ from 200 feet or more in the downtown area. Some local restaurant owners and musicians are concerned the ordinance would hinder their ability to offer live bands to draw in patrons. The Storminâ Norman Band led a small protest outside of Billikenâs on Caroline Street Saturday. There was loud music played, the band members spoke about their concerns and later marched to Market Square, where they continued to sing, âWeâre taking our freedom back now.â ....

She was a member of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce and a paraprofessional and substitute teacher in the Stafford school system. She also never met a dog she didn’t want to take home. ....
