Families and friends enjoy time outside at Street Eats and Beats Saturday
The sound of music flowed out from Eric Stein Stage to hundreds of people gathered in Oakdale Park Saturday afternoon. The Salina Area Young Professionals’ sixth edition of Street Eats and Beats looked to be a wild success.
Most groups of people found shade to hear to musicians such as DJ Hannah Holt and Doc and the Disorder through the afternoon.
It felt like things are getting back to normal, organizers said.
Michelle Isaacson, owner of the MMM Root Beer truck, said Saturday went well and that it was “awesome” to see people out and about. She thinks people are more than ready to attend events such as Street Eats and Beats.
