The San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council remains committed to the Child Advisory Body. In a release on Monday, supporters of the Advisory Body within the Council provided supporting information.
Three years ago, Mayor Earl Trapp Jr. signed the Hopkins Declaration and committed his office to ensure that child rights are respected and creating inclusive, participatory, and child-friendly municipalities.
According to the release, today with the guidance and establishment of a Child Advisory Body, Technical Steering Committee, and a Sustainable Child-Friendly Municipality Secretariat Office, effort continued to be made to develop and make San Ignacio and Santa Elena the BEST municipality in which to raise a family.
