Spring Spruce-Up event set for April 17

Spring Spruce-Up event set for April 17
Eight Salina organizations are teaming up to provide volunteer opportunities for the annual Spring Spruce-Up event from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 17. The community workday provides volunteers will different volunteer options to choose from to help beautify the community. The event was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
Volunteers do not need to sign up, they can show up at the location of their choosing.
"We will not be offering a breakfast as we are trying to not put a large group of people together, instead of showing up at the Temple people will go directly to their worksite," said Jane Anderson, Executive Director of Friends of River Foundation.
